We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Annah Mutuo Kavale of Laconia, New Hampshire following a long period of failing health.
Annah was the beloved wife of Rev. Dr. Festus K. Kavale (formerly Senior Pastor at AIC Jericho—Nairobi, and Ashbury Theological Seminary—Wilmore, KY, and currently Spiritual Care Director at LRG Healthcare, NH) and the mother of Jonathan K. Kavale and Joshua M. Kavale.
A memorial service is being planned to take place at 12 noon, Saturday December 15th 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 18 Wesley Way, Gilford, NH 03247. We appeal for your prayers, presence, and financial benevolence at a fundraiser on Sunday December 16th 2012 which is being organized through Rapture Harvest Mission Intl. to help raise funds to transport the deceased and family members to Kenya. DEATH AND FUNDRAISING ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr. Johnson Maina Ngotho, age 69, died at Boston, MA, on Friday, December 7th, 2012. The cause of his death was lung cancer.
Johnson was born on October 10, 1943, to Samuel Gichimu and Evangelist Marion Wanjiru in Muranga, Kenya. He was the eldest of seven children. He lived in Kericho, Nairobi, Naivasha, and in Njoro, Kenya, before settling in Columbus, OH in 2004. Johnson was employed by Rich's Products Inc. in General Labor where he served dutifully until September 2012.
Johnson gave his life to the Lord in 2004 and he joined Revival Missions Center Church, where he served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. In his leisure, he enjoyed singing and listening to gospel and country music.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jane Njoki Maina, and his sisters and brothers, Naomi, Pastor Rebecca, Pastor Daniel, Karuri, and Muigai. He is further survived by his children Mary, Liz, Sam, Gacheru, Ruth, Shiku, Dan, Naomi, plus nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Johnson was preceded in death by his mother Evangelist Marion and sister Ruth Wambui.
People are meeting daily for prayers in our home at Camelot Condominius, 347 Pawtucket Blvd apt 17 at 6 to 8pm.
There will be a memorial service and fund-raising at St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Lowell, MA, on Sunday the 16th starting from 3:00PM. His body will be transported to Nakuru for burial that will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2012.Sammy and his wife Mercy Maina will travel for burial

It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on to Glory of Mr. Nelson Mutonga Gathaiya. The Deceased was husband to Gladwell Gathaiya.Father to Jay Gathaiya of Detriot Michigan, Catherine, Stella, Laban and Joseph all of Kenya.
The late Mr. Gathaiya met his death through a tragic car accident on Monday 3rd September 2012 on Highway 565 in Huntsville Alabama.
Relatives and friends continue to meet daily at the deceased residence 1005C Beacon parkway in Woodlands east apartments Birmingham in an effort to raise the funds but have thus far only realized a portion of the $10,000 needed to transport the body for burial back to Kenya. It is with sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of Simon Gichuki Magu who passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in a hospital in Kenya after a long illness bravely borne. He was the husband to (elder) Harriet Gichuki of PCEA Imani Church, Lowell, MA.
The late Simon Gichuki lived in the USA for a long time but recently went back to Kenya to be with his family. Church, friends and family members are meeting every evening at 6:00 p.m. at 395 Mammoth Rd Apt 7, in Lowell, MA 01854.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 3, 2012 at PCEA Imani Church, 1 Cushing Street, Lowell, MA 01854. Service starts at 4:00.
The late Gichuki left behind a huge hospital bill besides, of cause burial expenses that must be met. In our Kenyan spirit, let us get together and celebrate the life of our late brother as well as help his family pay off the hospital bill and burial expenses.

We regret to announce the death of Jackson (Kere) Weru (43) of Worcester, MA who passed away on March 30, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Hospital from cardiac arrest. He was the beloved son of Geoffrey and Unnah Weru of Kenya, brother to Catherine, James (mwanish), Charles (Wanjo), Winnie and the late Annah Weru. Kere was also the beloved cousin to Esther Karanja, Gitonga, Ngash and Lore Nduati, and uncle to lots of nephews and nieces all from Worcester, MA.
His parents’ wishes are to have him laid to rest in Kenya and the family is in need of your prayers and support.

Peter was the seventh child of Mr. Simon Gacheru Mukangu(deceased) and Mrs Teresa Wanjeri Gacheru of Kagongo village, Mathioya; Muranga was a brother to Margaret Wangui Munga of Nyagatugu; Muranga, Mary Muthoni Kamotho of Raleigh, North Carolina, Ignatius Mukangu Gacheru of Kagongo; Muranga, Cecilia Wacheke Muchiri of Muranga; Lucy Nyaikamba Gacheru of Kerugoya, Francis Mutoa Gacheru of Nairobi, Agnes Kirigo Gacheru and Augustine Kabugu Gacheru both of Nairobi Kenya.
As we try to come to terms with this loss, we are strengthened spiritually knowing that God gives and God takes away. Thank you again for your support both in prayer and in kind. We regret to announce the death of retired Rev. Daniel Mwaniki Gichuhi of Munyu, Naivasha which occurred on Tuesday, May 10th 2011 after a short illness. He was the son of the late Gichuhi Waniari and Serah Wanjiku. He was a beloved husband to Leah W. Mwaniki, loving dad to Gichuhi, Rev. Karanja of Kenya Assemblies of God- Kinoo, Waweru, Njambi, Mbuthia, Ngigi, Wang’ang’a, Peter Mwaniki of Dracut, MA, Wanjiku, Ngarama, and Njoroge.
He was loving brother to Mbuthia, Wambui both of Limuru, Wangari of Mbaruk Nakuru and Ngarama Gichuhi of Munyu, Naivasha. He was grandpa to many children. His body leaves Uplands Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 18th 2011 at 10am and thereafter funeral and burial ceremony at his farm in Munyu ( Muico wa Rami ) between Flyover and Ihindu on Nakuru- Nairobi Highway.

Death has occurred of Joseph Kyalo Manthi, Joe was a long time New England resident having lived in the Boston area, Nashua and Hudson New Hampshire before relocating to Chicago, Illinois. Joseph was a dearly loved husband to Susan and father to Leila and Alyssa Manthi and was like a brother to the Ateku family of Boston and Allen, Texas, having grown up with them. Joseph suffered a heart attack and a massive stroke which resulted to his death. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.

Death has occurred in Richmond Virginia of Eliud Ngige Ng’ang’a on 20th April 2011 at VCU hospital. Mr.Ngige was unwell on Sunday when he started complaining of body chill and was coughing blood. He was rushed to the Hospital where the Diagnose was pneumonia. His condition worsened on Wednesday morning and was later pronounced dead at 12.00
noon.
He was formerly the headmaster of Kihumbuini (Kangemi) Primary, Muthangari Primary, and retired at Salama Primary School. Son of the late Joseph Ng’ang’a Chege and Esther Njeri Ng’ang’a. Son-in-law to the late Henry Ng’ang’a Kageche and the late Violet Njeri Ng’ang’a. He was beloved husband to Alice Nyambura Ngige (formerly of Bain Hogg/Eagle Africa). Brother to the late Peter and the late Loise Chege, the late Elizabeth Wacheke, Margaret and Peterkin Ngeera, Molly and Elijah Kimani, the late Grace and Musa Wainana. Father to Joseph and Agnes Ng’ang’a Ngige, Esther and Maina Ndegwa, Henry and Wanjiru Ng’ang’a, Peter Chege Ngige, Anne and Emmanuel Murage and Stephen Kageche Ngige. Grandfather to Ngige Ng’ang’a, Pearl Ng’ang’a, Keren Ng’ang’a, Sheeko Ndegwa, Baraka Ndegwa, Eli Ng’ang’a, Kimberly Nyambura Ng’anga and Joy Murage.

Death has occured of Mr. Peter Muiruri Njoroge. Peter to some, Njoroge to others and Muiruri to yet others, lived in Indian Orchard Springfield, MA up until Dec. 2008, when he left the US and returned to Kenya to be with his family. He lived a quiet and peaceful life,going about doing his family business until Wednesday this week when gunmen decided to cut down his life right outside his house.
He was rushed to hospital but unfortunately Peter did not make it. Hence it is with much sadness, sorrow and regret that we announce the sudden and untimely demise of Njoroge, a friend to Springfieldians, and especially to those who enjoyed his goat barbecues during his tenure with us here.
The late Njoroge was a brother to Jane Njau, PA, Damaris Kongo,Ludlow, MA Dee Muthua, Springfield, MA Mama Njeri Palmer,MA Margaret Muguku (Bui) of Granby,and John Mwangi (Bosco) amongst others. He was a brother-in-law to Kongo, Charles Muthua, Robert Muguku and George Ngugi (Machismos) all of Springfield. Njoroge's close family and friends are meeting daily at the Kongo's every evening at 39 Allison Ln., Ludlow, MA 01056.
Four members of the family will travel to Kenya for the funeral and burial of the late Peter. They need our support, both financial and spiritual.
Please let us come together this Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 4 p.m. to offer our assistance, encouragement, comfort and love to this grieving family.
Peter passed away at the young age of 46. He is survived by his dear wife, Sarah Muthoni and two lovely young men as well as his loving mother.
Let us condole with this family during this their time of need (Ps. 46:1ff).

It's with great sadness that we announce the promotion to Glory of our mum, Mrs. Serah Mukunda, at North Western Memorial hospital in Chicago, IL.
Wife to Mr. Titus Mukunda Kanyi, Mum to Susan Mukunda, Carol Mukunda-Muturi, and Kanyi Mukunda. Mum`s greatest moments in life were serving God and people as a minister, her family, and promoting education as a teacher.
During her visits to the USA, she ministered in different places and touched many lives. During her last visit to the U.S she fell ill and was in and out of hospital between July and December 24th. She passed on December 24th and the Lord promoted her to glory. She will be laid to rest in Kenya.
Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and to support the family while also planning a Fund raiser to be held on Sunday January 2nd 2011 after the memorial service to raise the $20,000 needed to transport her to Kenya. An account has been set up for those who will not make it to the meetings and would like to assist.
