"Im not employed." Obama Half-brother tells census officials
By Harry Ndeta , Ajabu Africa News

NAIROBI, Kenya, AUGUST 28_ “I am not employed,” was the response of US President Barack Obama’s half brother to a question by enumerators.

George Obama who was counted on Monday night at his two-roomed rented house in Huruma, Nairobi, also listed President Obama as one his family members “in the Diaspora”.

According to reliable sources, the census officials were surprised that the person they were counting was the half brother to the US President.

George reportedly said he did not have a job when asked about his employment status and only said he was engaged in “small personal things here and there”.

It is not clear if the enumerators went ahead and listed President Obama, his step-mother Keziah and several other family members living overseas as Kenyans in the Diaspora.

However, though Obama’s father was Kenyan, he is not a citizen of the country and is wholly American.
Some critics in America have questioned the US President’s actual citizenship and even recently posted a birth certificate on the internet showing that he was born in Kenya.

But the certificate was found to be a forgery. According to the official US Government records, Obama was born in Hawaii.

George who is currently working on his memoirs, reportedly indicated that he was single and had college level of education.

He is also said to have pointed out that he owned a television set, a mobile phone and a radio.

He does not however own a computer though said he was IT-compliant and goes to a cyber café when he wants to browse the internet.

George was one of the hundreds of residents counted in Huruma in an exercise that was continuing by yesterday.

President Obama has been on record hitting out at the Kenyan Government over corruption.
“I have a brother in Kenya who has no job because he can not bribe,” he said during a recent tour of Ghana.
